METHOD FOR SUPPLYING WIRELESS REMOTE MULTIMEDIA MULTICASTING SERVICE USING IMT-2000 NETWORK

PURPOSE: A method for supplying a wireless remote multimedia multicasting service using an IMT(International Mobile Telecommunication)-2000 network is provided to mount a multicasting function, and to perform transmission and synchronization for filmed images by using an RTP(Real-time Transport Protocol). CONSTITUTION: A target terminal drives a web browser(S1) to connect with a wireless Internet broadcasting website(S2), and selects a wireless broadcasting program channel by a channel browser(S3). If a multicast group joins in an IWF(InterWorking Function)(S4), the IWF joins in a multicast network(S5) to form a multicast tree(S6). Moving image/audio data from a camera are captured from a camera(S7). If the data are analog moving image/audio data, an A/D(Analog-To-Digital) conversion is performed(S8). An encoder compresses/encodes the moving image/audio data(S9). Multimedia data are transmitted to an image browser of the target terminal via a streaming server in real time, and are buffed(S10). Moving image/audio streaming data are reproduced through an image CODEC(Coder and Decoder) for WinCE(S11). The image browser is completed(S12).
