PURPOSE: A system and method for remotely controlling a computer using the Internet is provided to control a PC being connected to the Internet remotely by using a personal mobile terminal or a client PC capable of using the Internet. CONSTITUTION: A server PC(200) and a RPI server(300) includes a data conversion unit(250) performing an interactive conversion between a protocol type control command or data used in a client device(400) and meta data used in the server PC(200) and the RPI server(300) from the client device(400). The sever PC(200) includes a remote control unit(220) processing data converted by a data conversion unit(250) and controlling the server PC(200). The RPI server(300) includes a user certification unit(320) processing data converted by the data conversion unit(250) and certifying a connection request to the server of a user through the client device(400) and a database(330) storing server information of the server PC(200) being connected to the Internet and user information of the client device(400) requesting a connection to the server PC(200). The RPI server(300) includes a FAX transmitting unit(340) for performing instead of a server PC no having a facsimile transmission function.
