PURPOSE: An automatic Internet access protocol setup method is provided to automatically set up an environment condition of a TCP/IP protocol changed according to the place, where a mobile Internet communication terminal, e.g. a notebook computer, is installed, by using an access history of the notebook computer. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of determining if a user is in an access to the Internet(S101), loading an access environment according to a communication protocol currently used(S102), comparing the newly loaded access environment data with the stored access environment data(S103), storing the newly loaded access environment data at an address different from the address of the stored access environment data in the case that the newly loaded access environment data does not exist among the stored access environment data(S104), and enabling the user to access the Internet according to the user request in the case that the newly loaded access environment data exists among the stored access environment data(S105).
