DRUG FOR ALLERGIC RHINITIS AND ASTHMA, AND MANUFACTURING PROCESS THEREOF

PURPOSE: A drug for allergic rhinitis and asthma containing medicinal herb as an active ingredient is provided, which shows excellent effect on treating allergic rhinitis and asthma by softening the mucus of the bronchial tubes and inhibiting hypersensitive reaction of the respiratory system. CONSTITUTION: The drug for allergic rhinitis and asthma is manufactured by following processes of: preparing 25wt.% of Pinelliae Rhizoma, 20wt.% of Asiasari Radix, 10wt.% of Schizandrae Fructus, 10wt.% of Zingiberis Rhizoma, 10wt.% of Cinnamomi Ramulus, 10wt.% of Ephedrae Herba, 10wt.% of Paeoniae Radix, and 5wt.% of honey-fried Glycyrrhizae Radix, and mixing the medicinal herbs; adding water, and heating for 3hrs at 70-90deg.C; removing the scum floating on the mixture, and filtering to get the extract. The medicinal herb extract can be used as it is, or drug form such as powder, granule, tablet, capsule, and syrup.
