PURPOSE: An automatic preliminary image estimate system is provided to transmit an image, describing a destruction state of a car, to a car insurance company by real time over the Internet so that it makes it possible reporting the car accident and makes it easy processing a preliminary estimate. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises steps of entering destructed car at a repair service center(S1), taking a moving image of the destructed car by using a wired or wireless camera(S2), storing the taken moving image and the car data such as an owner, a sort, a registration number and others at a computer installed at the repair service center, and transmitting the moving image and the car data to a server over the Internet(S3), the server transmitting the general data of the destructed car to a corresponding insurance company(S4), the insurance company logging on the server and downloading the moving image data of the destructed car(S5), the insurance company checking the destruction state and making a preliminary estimate(S6), and the insurance company checking detailed part data necessary for repairing the destructed car and outputting a final repair estimate(S7).
