APPARATUS HAVING FUNCTION OF AUTO SHUT-DOWN WHEN POWER FAILURE AND AUTO START WHEN POWER RETURN

PURPOSE: An apparatus having function of auto shut-down when power failure and auto start when power return is provided to remove damage of a hard disk driver caused by power failure by shut-down the hard disk driver when continuous power failure for over a designated time and turning off main function power of an apparatus. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus includes a power source part(316), a battery supply and charging part(344), and an AC power sensing part(349). The battery supply and charging part(344) is composed of a switching transformer(320), a diode(324), a battery control part power supply part(325) which supplies power to the battery supply and charging part(344), and a transistor(319), an inductance(322), an electrolytic condenser (323) and p channel FET(Field Effect Transistor) which controls battery charging, and a switching transistor(319) and a battery control part(318) to control power supply to all of battery function, and a diode(329) and a battery(330) to supply power by the battery. A battery charging sensing part(343) is composed of a partial pressure voltage (336,337,338,339,340), a comparison device(331,332) and a full up resistor(341,342). An AC sensing part(349) is composed of a diode(346), a current restrict resistor(347), a transistor(345), a full down resistor(348) and a full up resistor(344) to sense phase of AC power(301) licensed.
