PURPOSE: A continuous heating air conditioning system is provided to prevent frost in an evaporator from being generated by switching refrigerant stream with air flow without additional defrosting cycle. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioning system has a cooling mode, a normal heating mode and a defrost heating mode. A four-way valve(16) is set to function a first heat exchanger(2) as an evaporator and to function a second heat exchanger(3) as a condenser, and dampers(55,56,57,58,75,76,77,78) are set to flow inner air indoors through the first heat exchanger and to discharge outer air through the second heat exchanger in the cooling mode. In the normal heating mode, the four-way valve is set to operate the first heat exchanger as an evaporator and to operate the second heat exchanger as a condenser, and dampers are controlled to flow inner air indoors through the second heat exchanger and to discharge outer air through the first heat exchanger. The four-way valve is set to operate the first heat exchanger as a condenser and to operate the second heat exchanger as an evaporator, and dampers are adjusted to flow inner air indoors through the first heat exchanger and to discharge outer air through the second heat exchanger in the defrost heating mode.
