PURPOSE: An apparatus for manufacturing a thermoelectric material and a manufacturing method using the same are provided to improve the productivity by using a thermal pressing process. CONSTITUTION: A controller(2) is operated by a command of a computer(1). A motor(3) is operated by the controller(2). A decelerator(4) is connected with the motor(3). A bevel gear(5) is connected with the decelerator(4). A lower portion of a screw(6) is connected with the bevel gear(5). An upper portion of the screw(6) is fixed by a bearing(12). The screw drives a heating portion(7) to an upper or a lower direction. A heating portion(7) is fixed at a center portion of the screw(6). The heating portion(7) is driven by the rotation of the screw(6). A thermocouple(10) is formed at one end of the heating portion(7). A sample mounting tube(8) is located at the center portion of the heating portion(7). A damping device(13) prevents the vibration.
