MANUFACTURING PROCESS FOR MEDICINAL HERB EXTRACT TO ELIMINATE TOXIC INGREDIENT IN HUMAN BODY

PURPOSE: A novel medicinal herb extract is provided, which prevents bad effects caused by smoke of tobacco, and removes toxic ingredient in human body caused by tobacco through excretion of nicotine in urine. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing process for medicinal herb extract to eliminate toxic ingredient in human body comprises the steps of: adding large quantity of(10-15times) aqueous solvent(e.g, methanol, 40% ethanol, acetone or distilled water) to a medicinal herb(e.g., Houttuynia cordata Thunb, Geranium nepalense Sweet, Cuscuta japonica Choisy, Lonicera japonica Thunb, Cassia obtusifolia L., Glycyrrhiza glabra L., or Rubia cordifolia L. var mungista Miquel), and mixing; and extracting at 40-90deg.C for 1-4hrs, removing solid, and concentrating the extract under decompression(30-50mmHg). The medicinal herb extract can be used in a functional food, a pharmaceutical composition, or food form.
