PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a chip with laminated optical films via an optical film laminate is provided to easily handle. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing the chip with laminated optical films includes the steps of obtaining the first optical film cut sheet(4) with cutting of the first optical film sheet(3), of which a first edge and a second edge are parallel with, or vertical to the optic axis(10), along the first cutting line crossing a third edge and a second cutting line crossing a fourth edge, by laminating the obtaining first optical film cut sheet on the second optical film belt-like body, in such a way that the first and second edges of the first optical film cut sheet run parallel to both edges of the second optical film belt-like body. Moreover by cutting the second optical film belt-like body along the shape of the first optical film cut sheet, so as to obtain the optical film laminate and by cutting the obtained optical film laminated body.
