GAS RANGE

PURPOSE: A gas range is provided to supply purified secondary air to a combustion part of a gas range and to prevent air holes flowing the secondary air from being stained with food liquid if the food liquid flows over an upper plate from a cooking vessel. CONSTITUTION: Four air holes(64) are formed on the horizontal circumference of a sidewall of a gas range(2). Each air hole is arranged with an interval of 90 degrees in the circumferential direction. A cover(65) is formed on each air hole and extended into a burner base(6). The cover prevents bad combustion of the gas range and inhibits broth from flowing into the air holes from the burner base. If the air holes are formed on a sidewall(63) of the burner base, plural grooves are formed on the inner circumference and at both sides of the air holes. The sidewall is bent into the burner base from the inner circumference of the air holes. The sidewall is useful as a cover. Therefore, the cover prevents broth from flowing over a broth storage part(62) when a user takes the burner base from the gas range.
