Data are received from remote electronic accident data recorders and/or electronic travel data recorders in vehicles. The data cannot be accessed by third persons. The recorders may be provided with gyroscopic sensors. The data include the position of the vehicle, the time, the status of the vehicle, the dynamics of vehicle movement, and behaviour of the driver, information relating to the driver and co0driver, and vehicle identification.
