<p>The improvements can be applied to machines in which the film (7-7') is fed by two reels (8-8') having different widths, whereby independent feed mechanisms for each of the reels (8-8') are mounted on a common support (2), said support being height adjustable with the aid of a pair of end pneumatic cylinders (10) so that the respective feed combs (1-1') are selectively placed opposite the removal grippers (9) stretching the film (7-7') to the wrapping area where side grippers (15) are located pulling the film transversally, the position of said side grippers also being adjustable. The side folding devices (24) fold the film onto the lower face of the tray (25) or item to be wrapped, the position of said devices also being adjustable.</p> |
