PURPOSE: An incinerator is provided to prevent discharge of smoke and reverse flow of flame to an input passage through forming a vapor curtain at the input passage of the incinerator. CONSTITUTION: Waste in an incinerator(20) is burned for heating water in a vapor generating chamber(30). Then, the vapor generated in the vapor generating chamber is supplied to a horizontal vapor discharge tube(11) through a vapor supply tube(13). The vapor is sprayed through vertical spraying holes and horizontal spraying holes by vapor pressure of the transferred vapor. Thus, a vertical vapor curtain is formed to block transfer of flame to an input passage(21). Therefore, a door(22) of the input passage is prevented from being heated. A horizontal vapor curtain is formed to prevent elevation of ashes. Thus, an accident caused by reverse flow of flame is prevented while performing operation in an opened state of the input passage.
