The drink container producing process involves sealing off a jacket of paper or card with end closing pieces, at least one of which is made of plastic. The closing piece (3) made of plastic is in the form of a flat-lying thin cutout (23). Shortly before it is fitted in the jacket (2), and edging (6) is made on it.
