The aim of the invention is to improve an electrical connector whereby enabling it to be economically produced while using simple means, making a simple and cost-effective fully automatic assembly possible within the context of the production of electrical devices, and also realizing a secure, sturdy and reliable contacting even under extreme operating conditions. To this end, the invention provides an electrical connector of the aforementioned type which is characterized in that the contact element is provided essentially in the shape of an S'. The connecting section and the contact sections are formed in the area of the free ends of the contact element. The contact sections have a different oscillatory behavior, and at least one fixing section for fixing the contact element inside the chamber of the housing is laterally provided on the connecting section. Said fixing section is located in a plane that is essentially orthogonal to the connecting section. |
