HEAD STIFFENER FOR STEEL PIPE PILE

PURPOSE: A head stiffener for a steel pipe pile is provided to give excellent stiffness on reinforcement for the head of a steel pipe by the balance between a steel structure and concrete and to reduce the cost of materials. CONSTITUTION: A head stiffener for a steel pipe pile comprises: a ring-shaped cover plate(20) having fit holes(21) for screwing reinforcing bars(10) whose lower ends are composed of threaded parts(11) at regular intervals; a bar arranging instrument(30) for concrete reinforcement welded to the bottom of the cover plate away from the fit holes; a short pipe(40) welded to the bottom of the cover plate after setting the bar arranging instrument in the inside; a circular plate(50) welded to stop up the lower part of the short pipe; a supporting block(60) welded to the quadrisected inside of the short pipe away from the bar arranging instrument; a cross-shaped supporting bar(70) for stiffening and supporting the supporting block; and fit holes(h) bored through the short pipe and the supporting block, so that the head of a steel pipe(100) is stiffened by coupling by bolts and washers(B) through a hole(H) bored through the steel pipe of a corresponding location.
