FUEL INJECTOR ASSEMBLY HAVING IMPROVED SOLENOID OPERATED CHECK VALVE

PURPOSE: A fuel injector assembly is provided to excellently control an injection parameter between fuel injections at low cost and minimize influence of pressure wave dynamics in a control valve and a nozzle assembly. CONSTITUTION: An injector body part(20) of a fuel injection device assembly(10) has a longitudinal direction axis(70) for establishing the center line. A plunger(18), a check valve(60) and a nozzle assembly(28) are arranged in the axis direction along the center line. A nut(24) establishes a low pressure fuel relief passage(72). Within the low pressure fuel relief passage, unused fuel from a high pressure fuel transmission system(30) is collected. Fuel comes from the injector body part via a fuel relief port(74) formed adjacently to the low pressure fuel relief passage within the nut. The low pressure fuel relief passage and a high pressure fuel passage(48) are separated in the horizontal direction from the center line within the injector body part and is clearly positioned on each side of the center line.
