The room heating system has electric floor heating with heating cables connected to the electric mains via control electronics (11). The floor heating cables are fed directly into a connecting socket that is connected to the electric mains and that contains the control electronics. There can be a number of heating circuits with cables fed directly into the socket. An Independent claim is also included for a connection socket for a room heating system.
