The propeller (3) is driven by a motor directly or indirectly via a motor. There is a guide or cowl in the region of the propeller or its shaft (2) in the flow from it, with one or more outlet apertures. These apertures receive or pass the fluid flowing from the propeller. This fluid is directed by another guide or channel (11) to a generator (19) which acts with a turbine. The cowl may be co-axial with the shaft. It may also have one or more inlet apertures (8). |
