PURPOSE: A reserve payment system and method is provided to deposit reserve, set according to reference purchase amount, at a bank account designated by a customer whenever a registered customer purchases commodities at affiliated stores and enable the customer to use the deposited cash so that it can increase a revenue of the affiliated stores. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a customer filling in a customer registration form and registering a bank account where reserve is to be deposited(s1), the customer showing a discount card or informing a customer number when purchasing commodities at affiliated stores(s2), the stores inputting the customer number at a terminal(s3), a server verifying the customer by using the input customer number(s4), the server depositing reserve at the registered bank account according to the amount of the purchase(s5), and the store receiving the deposit cash amount data and remitting the corresponding cash to the server account(s6).
