PURPOSE: A timer assembly structure of a microwave oven is provided to reduce manufacturing cost and improve the efficiency of assembly by directly connecting a timer to a control panel and reducing the size of a bracket, and to exactly set cooking time by operating a control knob. CONSTITUTION: A timer(10) is directly connected to guide bosses(22,24) of a control panel(20), and has a timer gear(12) and a timer shaft(14) rotated by the operation of a time control knob(52). An output driving gear(40) is rotated to control an output suitable for a cooking condition according to the operation of an output control knob(54). A fixing bracket(30) is coupled to the rear face of the control panel, and has an intermediate gear(32) simultaneously engaging the timer gear and the output driving gear.
