PURPOSE: To prevent a connection fault or the like of a module due to thermal load or elastic deformation and maintain secure operation of a circuit by alleviating adverse effects coming from electromagnetic wave or the like to a connector or the like, and maintain safe operation by way of cooling off of a semiconductor chip. CONSTITUTION: The connector has a module 100 connected to a printed circuit board 300 with its board face nearly in parallel with the latter. The connector is provided with a connector body 210 having a receiving part 211 extending along the front side of the module fit for connection and a supporting part 213 receiving the module extending from the receiving part backward, and a groove 211a to have the front part of the module inserted into the rear face of the receiving part. In the groove, contacts 212a, 212b contacting a conductive pad 130 of the module is provided, and a metal cover 220 for holding the connector in a connecting state pinching the module between the supporting part by covering and locking the connector body.
