PURPOSE: To provide a method and a device for reconfiguration of image of the internal surface of blood vessel by using a catheter having a built-in position sensor inside. CONSTITUTION: A method for reconfiguration of a vas image comprises a step of inserting a catheter having a position sensor into a blood vessel, a step of obtaining position information from the sensor at a plurality of points in the vessel, a step of calculating the center line of the vessel based on the information and a step of calculating the internal surface of the vessel. Preferably, the method also comprises a step of display a picture of the image reconfiguration of the vessel. Also, a device for configuring the image of the vessel comprises a catheter having the built-in position sensor, a means for obtaining the position information from the sensor at the plurality of points in the vessel, a means for calculating the censor line of the vessel based on the information and a means for calculating the internal surface of the vessel. |
