PURPOSE: A sheet loader is provided to confirm tray discrimination and loading state of sheets by laminating plural sheet-loading trays and to prevent deterioration of device operability in a printer having the sheet loader. CONSTITUTION: A sheet loader or a printer having the sheet printer includes a plurality of sheet trays(102,106,121,126) for loading sheet. The plural sheet trays are laminated and arranged in a roughly vertical direction. The width-wise end of at least one of the sheet trays is moved width-wise of at least one of the sheet trays from the width-wise end of another sheet tray. Therefore, the observation property of sheets loaded on the plural sheet trays is improved by the arrangement.
