<p>A multimedia information intermediating device (10) registers or updates part of information on a Web site without need of manual operation by a company. A first data processing unit (12) receives an information originator code and image data from a facsimile machine (30) which is an information originator terminal through a circuit network (20) including a telephone line and stores the image data correlated with the information originator code in a storage unit (16). A second data processing unit (14) receives the information originator code specified by operating the information recipient terminal (50) through the Internet (40), reads the corresponding image data from the storage unit (16), and sends it to the information recipient terminal (50).</p> |
