PURPOSE: A polyvinyl alcohol-based fiber containing a cyclic polyhydric alcohol(PVA) such as a catechin derivative and a process of preparing a dip cord by addition of a rubber adhesion promotor to the PVA-based fiber are provided. Whereby, the dip cord has excellent fatigue resistance. CONSTITUTION: A polyvinyl alcohol fiber having a tanδof 0.12 or more at 90 deg.C, containing substantially one tanδpeak at 60 to 120deg.C and having a breaking extension of 12% or more is added with a cord to rubber adhesion promotor and then heat-teated under the condition of a temperature of 110 to 200deg.C and tensile strength of 0.1 cN/dtex to produce a dip cord having a tanδof 0.12 or more at 90 deg.C, containing substantially one tanδpeak at 60 to 120deg.C and having a breaking extension of 12% or more. |
