APPARATUS FOR REMOVING SKULL ATTACHED TO GAS PORT RING AND BENT PIPE PART OF ELECTRIC FURNACE ROOF

PURPOSE: A skull removing apparatus attached to a gas port ring and a bent pipe part of an electric furnace roof is provided to prevent environmental pollution by improving dust-collecting efficiency and prevent a rotary equipment for opening and shutting the electric furnace roof from being damaged due to the attachment of excessive skull. CONSTITUTION: A skull removing apparatus attached to a gas port ring(3) and a bent pipe part(4) of an electric furnace roof(2) includes a cut and opened part(10) having a lower part hinge-coupled with the cut and opened position of the part where skull of the bent pipe part fused, a cut and opened part supporting element(11) connected with the bent pipe part for supporting the cut and opened part to prevent the cut and opened part from being separated, a cut and opened part weight(12) attached to the outer surface of the cut and opened part for forwarding and backwarding the cut and opened part into the inside of the bent pipe part, a guide ring(14) connected to an axis with covering the bent pipe part at the lower part of the cut and opened part weight, rotating on the axis, fixing a protruded guide ring stopper (16) on one side, a cylinder(15) attached to the other side of the guide ring for driving the guide ring to be rotated, a front end(18) positioned at the upper part of the gas port ring, and a rear end(19) positioned at the lower part of the guide ring stopper.
