LOCAL BROADCASTING SERVICE METHOD USING DIGITAL TV REPEATER

PURPOSE: A local broadcasting service method is provided to transmit necessary local information promptly to a member by using a digital TV repeater suitable in transmitting local broadcasting signal. CONSTITUTION: A local broadcasting station requests a local broadcasting to a digital TV repeater(S500). The digital TV repeater requests a permission of the requested local broadcasting to a central control unit(S501). A local broadcasting signal is inputted from the local broadcasting station if the central control unit permits the requested local broadcasting. The program/system information of the inputted local broadcasting signal and a central broadcasting signal received from a digital TV transmitter is shifted(S505). The inputted local broadcasting signal is transmitted in insertion to the central broadcasting signal or in a separate way according to the shifted program/system information(S506).
