PURPOSE: A refrigerant suction structure for hermetic compressor is provided, in which the spring pipe for connecting the suction pipe and the suction muffler have both ends bent to avoid contact with the suction pipe and connection cap, to thereby reduce noise and improve durability of the connection cap and suction pipe. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerant suction structure comprises a suction pipe(10) penetrating through the closed container; a suction muffler(9) for receiving the refrigerant from the suction pipe and transferring the refrigerant with reduced noise to the compression unit; a spring pipe(30) having an upper wire end(32) to be inserted into a connection cap(20) and a lower wire end(34) to be fitted into the outer surface of the front end of the suction pipe, and which allows the suction pipe to be communicated to the suction muffler so as to absorb vibration being transferred between the suction pipe and the suction muffler; and the connection cap for accommodating the upper wire end of the spring pipe, and which is connected to the suction pipe. The lower wire end of the spring pipe is bent outward to be spaced apart from the suction pipe, and the upper wire end of the spring pipe is bent inward to be spaced apart from the connection cap.
