BUFFER APPARATUS FOR AIR CONDITIONING UNIT DOOR

PURPOSE: A buffer apparatus for air conditioning unit door is provided to reduce noise caused when the inlet/outlet of the air conditioning unit is closed by the door, by allowing the buffer member to contact the air conditioning case prior to the contact of the seal body to the air conditioning case. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioning unit includes a door having a seal attached to one or both side surfaces of the door and which is installed to be rotatable at the inlet or outlet of the air conditioning case so as to control the flow of air being supplied into the passenger compartment. The door has at least one buffer member(14) protruded from the seal of the door, wherein the buffer member serves to contact the inlet/outlet of the air conditioning unit prior to the contact of the seal when the door closes the inlet/outlet, and disperse the impact generated at the seal, to thereby reduce noise. The door has a slot(16) having a stopper portion(15), and the buffer member has a narrow width piece(14a) and a wide width piece(14b) which is inserted into the slot formed at the door and fixed at the stopper portion.
