OXYGEN-LEAN THREE-STAGE BURNER

PURPOSE: An oxygen-lean three-stage burner is provided to prevent diffusive combustion of a radiant tube burner, to decrease temperature of a burner case, to make temperature of the radiant tube uniform and to restrain generation of NOx. CONSTITUTION: An oxygen-lean three-stage burner comprises: a COG(Coke Oven Gas) supply tube(301); nozzle holes(302) in the end of the COG supply tube; a venturi burner case(300) connected to the COG supply tube; a primary air supply hole(303) in the front portion of the burner case to supply primary air; an auxiliary burner assembly(310) in the side of the primary air supply hole; holes(304) in the side of a primary combustion area to flow out incompletely burned gas; secondary air supply holes(305) in the center of the venturi burner case to supply oxygen-lean gas formed by mixture of the unburned gas with secondary and tertiary air; and a swirler(306) in the end of the venturi burner case to supply tertiary air. As fuel is burned completely through three combustion areas, generation of NOx is restrained.
