PURPOSE: A steering column mounting plate reinforcing structure for a vehicle minimizes impact load transmitted to riders on a head-on collision accident by securing a sufficient gap between the rear of a brake pedal mounting bracket and a steering column mounting plate. CONSTITUTION: A gap between the rear of a brake pedal mounting bracket(70) and a steering column lower mounting plate(72) are mounted to minimally contact with each other on a head-on collision. One ends of steering column mounting plates(71,72) are open and joined to a steering column supporting panel(60) through a reinforcing plate(80) such that impact transmitted to the steering column mounting plates(71,72) is reduced. Further, the steering column mounting plates(71,72) damps the impact by being deformed, thereby securing riders's safety.
