SLIDE FASTENER FORMER

PURPOSE: The fastener former has a motor to work the forming of fastener in a linkage of pulleys to turn a screw holder of a pair of two screws in a set for the striking notch to produce teeth in a strike for the mono-line supply to come to twice the speed of rotation of the mono-line on the card to the effect of increased production. CONSTITUTION: The screw holder(23) is linked to the gear(26) in a gear box(25) and the mono-line wound on the cord is to keep a spacing between two screws(24) to form two lines of teeth at a strike of the notch(27) for the mono-line on the cord to speed up the winding of the mono-line on the cord by the timing pulleys(25a,28b,28c) of the gear box at the rate of 2:1 to match with the teeth production of two times faster than the convention.
