PURPOSE: An auxiliary air blow apparatus for air conditioner indoor unit is provided to achieve an improved cooling performance by allowing for a long distance delivery of air and extending discharge angle. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary air blow apparatus comprises an auxiliary air blower(6) arranged at the top surface of an indoor unit body(1) so as to blow the cooling air discharged through a discharge louver(5) arranged at the upper front surface of the main body, to the remote place. The auxiliary air blower includes a case(10) mounted to be rotatable onto the indoor unit body, a protective mesh(9) arranged at the front surface of the case, a motor(7) installed within the case, and a fan(8) connected to the shaft of the motor. Since the auxiliary air blower is arranged onto the indoor unit body, the cooling air discharged through the discharge louver is delivered to the remote place by the operation of the fan of the auxiliary air blower.
