PURPOSE: A positive temperature coefficient(PTC) device assembly for hermetic compressor is provided to achieve an improved operation reliability of the assembly by improving contact structure between the PCT device and support spring. CONSTITUTION: A PTC device assembly(30) comprises a housing(31) forming an outer appearance of the PTC device assembly and which has a plurality of support springs(40,40') mounted inside the housing; a plurality of terminals(60,60') connected to support springs and which are protruded outward from the housing; and a PTC device(50) arranged between support springs and which controls the current flowing through terminals. Support springs have elastic contact portions(45,45') for an electric contact with the PTC device. Elastic contact portions include a connecting part which is bent to have a predetermined spacing from the side surface of the PTC device, and a protruded part which is protruded from and bent at the front end of the connecting part so as to contact the PTC device. Since the protruded part reliably contacts the PTC device, and the connecting part reliably is reliably spaced apart from the PTC device, operation reliability of PTC device assembly is improved.
