PURPOSE: Provided is a centrifugal brake apparatus for a double-bearing reel enabling fine adjustment of the braking force and the change of the adjustable range. CONSTITUTION: A centrifugal brake mechanism has a brake member, movable members arranged to be brought into contact with the brake member, a change mechanism capable of changing the three movable members among the movable members from a nonoperation position not to be brought into contact with the brake member to an operation position to be brought into contact with the brake member and a movement mechanism for moving the brake member in the spool shaft direction.
