<p>The invention relates to a laser device comprising at least one light source (LS), said device being adapted to establish a light wavelength at one of at least two possible wavelengths (PW), wherein at least two of the said possible wavelengths (PW) differ by less than 200 nm, less than 50nm or preferably less than 25nm. According to the invention, even very narrow peaks corresponding to specific molecular structures may be excited by the same device. This feature of the invention implies that e.g. absorption peaks of water may be excited or, if necessary, avoided if no absorption of water is desired. <IMAGE></p> |
