PURPOSE: A method for drying marine products by using waste energy is provided to dry the marine products by using the waste energy from a main engine and a power generator in a ship. CONSTITUTION: A drying device is formed by an energy absorbing unit for absorbing waste energy to a marine products drying system, a transfer unit for transferring the absorbed energy to a drying chamber(2), a heat generating unit for generating heat by using the absorbed energy, and a dehydrating unit for eliminating moisture in the drying chamber. Herein, a heat exchanger(3) is installed on a gas exhaust pipe(5) of an engine and generator(1). Then, heat is absorbed from high exhaust gas for being transferred to a heat exchanger(4) in the drying chamber. By using a proportion control unit(9) is arranged for adjusting energy amount required in drying. Inner and outer dehydrating systems(7,8) are operated for increasing drying efficiency.
