发明名称 DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING FUEL INJECTION TIMING FOR DIESEL ENGINE
摘要 PURPOSE: A fuel injection timing control method for a diesel engine is provided to keep fuel injection timing by compensating the difference of a fuel temperature and a predetermined temperature in a diesel engine including an EUI(Electronic Unit Injector). CONSTITUTION: For controlling fuel injection timing of a diesel engine, required fuel injection amount and fuel injection timing are calculated depending on a vehicle speed, a cam angle, a throttle valve opened degree, cooling water temperature, intake air temperature and intake air pressure sensed via a traveling state sensing unit(S10). The temperature of fuel is detected by a fuel temperature sensor on a fuel line supplied to an EUI, and an electrical signal is applied to an ECU(Electrical control unit)(S20). The ECU decides if the fuel temperature is included within a range of maximum, minimum and standard temperatures or not(S30). If the fuel temperature is included within the range, the ECU outputs fuel injection timing control signals depending on fuel injection timing mapping data of respective modes is outputted to the EUI(S40). If the fuel temperature is not included within the range, compensatory fuel injection timing control signals are outputted to the EUI(S50). And, fuel injection timing of the EUI is kept uniform and explosion force of an engine is maintained properly in winter. Therefore, the life of the engine is lengthened. Moreover, fuel efficiency is improved in summer.
