METHOD FOR COMPENSATING DEVIATION OF RECEIVING STRENGTH IN WIRELESS TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A method for compensating deviation of receiving strength in a wireless terminal is provided to improve receiving capacity of the wireless terminal and reduce an error in closed loop power control. CONSTITUTION: An MSM reads and stores actual code value in corresponding to reference power in a test mode(401-403). The MSM compares the read code value with preliminarily stored code value(405-409). If the read code value is different from preliminarily stored code value, the slope value of current segment is compared with the slope value corresponding to the reference power(411). If the slope value of current segment is different from the slope value corresponding to the reference power, the deviation of receiving strength is compensated by considering the deviation of slope(413-417). If there is not deviation of receiving strength, the MSM judges the segment value for storing offset value corresponding to the segment(419-421).
