PURPOSE: A CoA(care of address) registration method in a mobile IP(Internet protocol) is provided to enable a fast service to a mobile node by reducing waiting time required to receive unnecessary agent advertisement message when the mobile node is matched to a foreign agent in PPP(point-to-point protocol). CONSTITUTION: A mobile node home address and a home agent address are acquired by a foreign agent just after the IPCP(Internet protocol control protocol) negotiation in the mobile node(S3,S6). The data acquired by the foreign agent is analyzed to generate a registration request message and it is transmitted to the home agent(S4,S7). After the registration request message is transmitted, an agent advertisement message is generated and transmitted to the mobile node(S5,S8).
