PURPOSE: Provided are a spinning reel and its roter driving motor designed to allow thrust force not to act on a one-way clutch. CONSTITUTION: The rotor drive works so as to drive a rotor in the fishline winding direction in response to the turning of a handle supported turnably on a reel body and to prevent the reverse of the fishline unreeling direction for the rotor. It has a face gear, a pinion gear, a bearing, a check element and a reverse-proofing mechanism, wherein the bearing is mounted on the cylindrical portion of the reel body in such a mode as to be restrained from movement backward of the portion in order to rotatably support the pinion gear on the reel body; the check element is fixed on the reel body in order to restrain the bearing from movement forward; and the reverse-proofing mechanism has a roller-type one-way clutch provided in front of the check element and works so as to prevent the reverse of the fishline unreeling direction for the rotor. |
