PURPOSE: A reflector is provided to decrease high reflectance of Ag, and to obtain continuously stable weather resistance even when the reflector is exposed to a severe environment of high temperature and high humidity. CONSTITUTION: The reflector is obtained by forming a reflection film(3) consisting of AgPdX, AgAuX(wherein X is Cu or Ti) to specified film thickness(nm) on a substrate(2). The alloy essentially comprises Ag with addition of Pd or Au or both of them by 0.5 to 3.0 wt.percent and further with addition of at least one kind of Al, Pt, Cu, Ta, Cr, Ti, Ni, Co and Si, for example, with addition of Cu or Ti by 0.1 to 3.0 wt.percent of Cu or Ti. The joining property is effectively reinforced by forming an organic base film on the substrate(2) as the pretreatment and then forming the reflection film(3) thereon. |
