PURPOSE: A cowl top mounting structure is provided to reduce a level of damage by securing an energy absorbing section, a section of available deformation when a wiper pivot is collided, and a section of available deformation when a hood is collided by changing the structure of the cowl top. CONSTITUTION: A cowl top mounting structure a hood(22) mounted at a side of a glass(12), a cowl top inner panel(14) mounted at a lower portion of the glass, a cowl top outer panel(16) mounted to the outside of the cowl top inner panel, a wiper pivot(20) mounted between the glass and the cowl top outer panel, an energy absorbing section(A) secured in the cowl top inner panel, an available deformation section(B) secured between the wiper pivot and the cowl top outer panel to be deformed when a wiper pivot is collided, and another available deformation section(C) secured to be deformed when the hood is collided.
