PURPOSE: A seal for a hub unit bearing is provided to prevent the introduction of impurities into an inside space of the seal via an outer inlet part of the seal by completely blocking off the outer inlet part, thereby preventing the rust and improving the water-resistance of the seal and the lubrication performance of the hub unit bearing. CONSTITUTION: A seal for a hub unit bearing includes an outer iron(51) in the shape of ring to contact an outer wheel part of the hub unit bearing, an inner iron(53) contacting an inner wheel part of the hub unit bearing and forming a predetermined space between the outer ring, a seal rib(55) formed of rubber to be inserted between the space between the inner and outer irons for sealing, and a blocking element(55a) mounted at an outer inlet part(O.L') of the seal exposed to the outside of the hub unit bearing for closing the outer inlet part to completely block off an inner space of the seal made from the outside, wherein the blocking element is protruded toward the inner iron to contact the inner iron for preventing the introduction of impurities.
