PURPOSE: An apparatus for attaching a bracket for correcting the irregularities of teeth is provided to simplify the attachment work of the bracket, and to increase the accuracy and the promptness of the correcting operation of the teeth. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for attaching a bracket is comprised of a housing(1) defining an inner space; a bracket support member(2) extended from the front side and the rear side of the housing; a pair of tweezers(3) disposed on both sides of the bracket support member to grasp both wings of the bracket by the one end portion thereof; a dental cusp standard plate(4) mounted on the top of the housing; a vertical reciprocating device(5) vertically penetrating the housing for reciprocating the dental cusp standard plate; and a handle(6) connected to the upper and the lower parts of the housing to support it. The bracket support member supports the bracket with the one end thereof being inserted in a slot of the bracket.
