PURPOSE: An EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve for a diesel engine is provided to reduce energy loss by controlling the discharge amount of exhaust gas via a cylindrical exhaust gas feeding member, to easily control the discharge amount of exhaust gas and to lengthen the life of an EGR valve by improving durability. CONSTITUTION: An EGR valve comprises a housing(1) having an exhaust gas inlet(2) connected with an exhaust pipe and an outlet(3) connected to an intake port, a step motor(4) whose rotational speed is varied depending on input voltage and rotating shaft(5) penetrates through the housing, and an exhaust gas feeding member installed in the housing and supported on the rotating shaft to discharge exhaust gas through the outlet. The discharge amount of exhaust gas is controlled by continuous the rotation of the cylindrical exhaust gas feeding member.
