PURPOSE: An armrest structure for a vehicle is provided for an armrest mounted between a driver's seat and a passenger's seat to be used as an armrest for a rear seat passenger by a hinge and a sliding member. CONSTITUTION: A center panel(31) having a striker(14) formed thereon and being engaged with a connecting groove(24) formed on a consol(20) is mounted on the upper end of the consol to be rotatable about a hinge axis(32). An armrest(30) having a magnet(38) on one side of the lower end thereof is mounted on the upper end of the center panel. Thus, the armrest is slid toward a rear seat, such that a sliding member is slid along a guide groove and rotated toward the rear seat about a hinge shaft. Therefore, a passenger sit on a rear seat can use the arm rest.
