PURPOSE: A moment testing method for a vehicle seat back is provided to simultaneously carry out both forward and backward seat back moments without any releasing or resetting of the assembling between a BIW(Body-In-White) and a vehicle body and optimizing the testing conditions and environment. CONSTITUTION: A moment testing method for a vehicle seat back includes the steps of fixing a BIW set in a testing machine to a vehicle body, connecting a wire rope extended from a front measuring element for testing a forward load to a seat back, outputting a testing result data for the forward seat back moment via a load cell and a displacement meter by pulling the wire rope with a hydraulic element, connecting a wire rope extended from the front measuring element for testing a backward load to the seat back via a predetermined roller element disposed at a rear part of the vehicle, and outputting a testing result data for the backward seat back moment via the load cell and the displacement meter by pulling the wire rope with the hydraulic element.
